  • For some products, and some customers, you don’t. But for most consumers making a large purchase online, that takes trust and consideration, both of which are enhanced when you can talk to a real human.

    Tests consistently show that conversion is improved (sometimes up to 2x) by offering live contact on your website, in search results, and on landing pages. On top of that, customers on the phone tend to convert faster, spend 28% more, and are retained at a 28% higher rate. If you’re online-only, the customers you’re losing are your best customers.

But building this infrastructure – hiring a team, leadership, setting up technology and process, managing performance – is too big a lift for many to justify.   • You want to be confident that you’re setting yourself up for success, so lets consider the journey to spin up and scale a sales team the ‘right way’.

    You’ll need to hire. You start with one sales rep, but realize that's not enough coverage. Plus, you have zero redundancy, and you don’t like judging the success of a whole channel on the performance of one individual. So you grow the team to a critical mass, but now you need someone to manage them.     These standards get implemented in new hire training, and while onboarding to your account. They’re checked within scripts and templates, and tested through management shadowing and call sampling to ensure ongoing compliance.

  • We align our interests with yours, using a performance-based-pricing model. This is us putting our money where our mouth is. We firmly believe we can profitably drive you incremental sales by partnering with us, so we’ll cover the costs of proving this out, and won’t charge you any fixed fees or marked up per-person expense.

    Structurally, that can be a fixed price per customer or percentage of sales. The level we set will be based on your expected lifetime value per customer, and we’ll optimize our service level to maximize how many sales we can convert for you at that price.

  • An internet business in 2024? Of course there will be AI!

    But seriously, while it's still early in the trajectory of AI-assisted sales, things are changing quickly, and we’re here to help you take full advantage.

    LLM’s continue to get more lifelike, which allows for AI to support and potentially even take over some customer communications. Additionally, new AI-enabled tools continue to arise helping sales teams get more efficient through better lead filtering, data augmentation, or prioritization. The upshot of all of this is that each individual will be able to support a wider array of customers, and focus on those that are most valuable.

    This is also another area where your business is better served by partnering with a company that lives in this world full-time (us!). No individual brand will be as well equipped to sift through available tools, train their own LLMs, or implement new tech rapidly as a service like Closeable.   • We want to be an extension of your experience, so we don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all implementation.

    We’ll start with a conversation of your existing funnel and goals. What is an incremental customer worth to you? Where do you already see an opportunity for improvement? How many visitors/leads/potential customers do you want to cover? This helps us identify, size, and estimate value for the traffic we want to target. If there’s an opportunity available, we’ll establish goals, agree on pricing, and start getting our team ready for launch.

    From there, we’ll move to implementation, which can be as light (phone number + basic tracking) or deep (experimentation roadmap, multichannel communication, assisted checkout) as we decide is optimal. Post-launch, we can deepen this integration further to maximize conversion.
